Lions roll on--and over Oblong; move to 5-1 on the season Share
As the season winds down, the Marshall Lions continue to get stronger on both offense and defense, setting up a possible rematch with the undefeated Casey Warriors come playoff time. In their latest endeavor, the Lions traveled to Oblong, where they dominated both sides of the ball in an impressive 44-0 road win. The Lions got notable contributions from several players, but were once again led by Senior quarterback Taylor Duncan, who had success running and throwing against the overmatched Panthers. The Lions are now 5-1, with their lone loss coming to the aforementioned Warriors on opening day. Their next game will be at home against the 3-3 Palestine-Hutsonville Pioneers, who are coming in off a 52-6 loss to Casey on Friday.
