Children's Christian Home upcoming events  Share
The Oblong Children's Christian Home is planning the following events. The 2nd Annual ''Race for the Kids'' Duathalon and 5K will be held September 19, 2009, at 8:00 am at the Hutsonville Park. Registration is $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. All pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt in addition to the goodie bag given to all participants. To register, contact our office at 618-592-3633 or go to www.oblongchristianhome.org and click on the duathalon link. The Oblong Children's Christian Home will also be having a ''Puttin' on the Ritz'' photo fundraiser October 22-26, 2009, at the Oblong Activity Center. Professional photographers will take portraits of children in formal wear (provided) and with various props. A package with an 8 x 10, 2-5 x 7's, and 8 wallets are just $9.95, and there is no sitting fee. Additional products can be ordered. The entire fee of $9.95 goes directly to the Oblong Children's Christian Home. Please stop by the Children's Home or call our office at 618-592-3633 for information. You must sign up and pay your $9.95 fee to make an appointment. For your convenience, you may also sign up at Kids Kingdom Early Learning Center in Oblong. One package per family.
