Debra is currently Cubmaster of Oblong Cub Scout Pack 324 and a member of the Flat Rock United Methodist Church where she teaches the nursery class.

What is your favorite dessert? Pecan pie

What is your favorite drink? Pepsi

What is your favorite sport? Softball, Illini basketball, and Colts football

What kind of vehicle would you like to own? A Mustang.

What is your favorite radio station? 105.9 and 96.7-I always flip back and forth between the two.

If you won the lottery, what would you do? I have never played. If I won, I would pay off all loans, bills, etc., give some to my sisters and put some into my kids' college fund. I would also give to our church and probably open a Long John Silver's in Oblong!

What would you do if you were stuck at home in a snowstorm? I would play in the snow with my boys, play board games inside, and watch TV.

Who was your favorite grade or high school teacher (and why)? My first grade teacher, Miss Carol Watts. She loved kids and she made our transition from half days of Kindergarten to full days of school a wonderful experience. She made school so much fun! Anyone who had her the same time I did remembers all of the silly songs- especially ''Flying Purple People-Eater''. She seemed to have a nickname for everyone. Mine was ''George'' and to this day, when I see her out, that is what she calls me!

Who is your best friend and why? My best friend is my husband. I can always count on him to be there. We do everything and go everywhere together.

What is your favorite memory of a great time thus far in life? I have three, actually-The births of my two boys-they are truly blessings! Also, all of the time spent with my parents. It's so, so true-you don't realize how much you enjoy it until it's gone.

If you could change something about your life, what would you change? Had I known that my mother was going to pass away four months after Zach was born, I would've asked her to be with me in the delivery room when he was born.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would be a little more patient.

What do you like to do in your spare time? When I have it, I like to draw, do puzzles, work in puzzle books, make crafts, play games, and watch the boys' sporting and scouting events.

What is the best advice you've ever been given? My husband's mother said, ''Give all your worries to the Lord. Get them off your shoulders. Let the Lord take care of them.''
