Cub Scouts visit Pumpkin Patch

Share

The Oblong Cub Scout Pack 324 visited Dorney's Pumpkin Patch in Lawrenceville on Sunday, October 11. Twelve scouts and their families enjoyed a corn maze, 12 foot slide, pumpkin slingshot, hayride, digging for gold nuggets and jumping in the inflatables. Several also picked out their ''perfect pumpkin'' before heading home. Upcoming events for the scouts include a costume party at the American Legion on October 24. During the Fall Follies, the scouts will be holding a cake walk from 9 Ð 12 and they will also be serving BBQ sandwiches, chips, hot chocolate, candy and cookies all day long as a fundraiser. On November 7, they will be helping those in need by placing flyers on every door during our ''Scouting for Food'' drive. The food will then be picked up on November 14. They will also be honoring our service men and women by participating in the veteran's day program at Pulliam's on November 11. Come check them out at the Fall Follies Ð they appreciate all of your support!
